I condemn in the strongest terms the burning of our beloved flag, the flags of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and the photograph of our Grand National Assembly National Defense Commission Chairman and AK Party Kayseri Deputy, Mr. Hulusi Akar, during the Easter celebrations in the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus.

Such provocative and disrespectful actions are a reflection of an understanding fed by grudge and hatred. I never accept this ugly attack against the beloved Turkish Nation and I strongly condemn it.
