Our Municipal Police Department teams have conducted inspections and controls in markets throughout our district due to the upcoming Ramadan month, focusing specifically on discrepancies between shelf prices and cashier prices, cleanliness and hygiene, expiration dates, and the sale of meat and meat products that should not be sold unpackaged. Administrative fines have been imposed on markets found to be in violation. Our inspections will continue to increase for the peace and well-being of our citizens.
