Penalties were imposed for violations identified. Citizens are urged to report issues related to expiration dates and food to the 174 food hotline, and issues related to exorbitant prices and consumer rights to the 175 hotline.
As part of the Bayram (Eid) inspections conducted in our district, all chain markets, bakery sales and manufacturing facilities were inspected by our municipal police department on matters within their authority and responsibility. Penalties were imposed for the violations detected. Citizens are requested to report “expiration dates and food-related problems to the 174 food hotline” and “excessive prices and consumer rights issues to the 175 hotline.”
