A Unique Heritage Reaching from the Ottoman Era to the Present Day

Kayseri's historically rich district of İncesu continues to preserve its cultural richness with the Kara Mustafa Pasha Complex, one of the most important structures that has survived from the Ottoman period to the present day.

This complex, built in the 17th century by the Ottoman Grand Vizier Merzifonlu Kara Mustafa Pasha, is not only a place of worship; It was also designed as a center for education, commerce, and social life.

The Kara Mustafa Pasha Complex was built between 1670 and 1671. Bearing the elegant traces of classical Ottoman architecture, the complex played an important role in making İncesu a strategic stop on the trade routes in Anatolia.
